ok so i am still new to volvo's i have an 85 240 with the automatic when i got this car the wonderful arrow was lit up for O/D off it never goes out the #11 fuse was good i replaced it just for good measure the switch seems to work fine and i hear the relay click when i press the button however the light never goes off, But at random for no reason while driving the car decides that 4th Gear will work i feel it kick in and when it does it will usually continue to work for the remainder of my trip all the while with the o/d light still bright as ever but once i get to my destination and shut the car off on my way back it is back to just 1st 2nd and 3rd anybody ever experience this???? also i want to crawl under and check out the wire that goes to the solenoid but where is it located on what side of the trans is it??
