My 90 740 GLE's blower motor has expired. This motor is of the two pin variety. After checking with eight stores I finally found one that actually has one in its catalog, only $75 and change..now the single pin blower is $25 and change..
#1. Whats the diff ? #2. Any reason I cant take the single pin setup and attach a ground strap on the mounting plate and use a slip on connector ? (I'm assuming (I know bad word)that one lead is positive and the other is negative..so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Second stupid question. The "walleye" headlights on this model (90- 740)to put it politely, "inhale deeply". I'm not about to buy the across the pond versions..however, I really liked the 87 - 740 style with the four beam style when really improved with certain aftermarket headlamps which I still have. Anyone out there ever tried to modify the header panel of a 90 -740 to accept the four beam setup of the 87 ? again, thank you for any and all assistance.
