Today I removed my pass. seat to replace the power seat switch. I noticed an odd object on the floor during the midst of this procedure. It's a red thing, semi-circular on one end, and a handle on the other. It looks like it fits on to the side impact sensor, but how I'm not exactly sure. I understand the purpose of the white clip that holds the side panel to the sensor, but this thing baffles me.

What should I do with it?
