Blown headgasket? 200

Hello,

I'm the poster, below, that just last night replaced the tstat and Nissens radiator. Ran the car after doing the work and had temp gage up to 9 0'clock. Today I did the same thing, but after 5 min or so noticed white smoke out of tail pipe, just water, no coolant smell. Looked under oil cap and sure enough, there was milky residue under cap.

So the headgasket blew? It had on occasion been weeping oil on outside of engine where head met the block? And never had overheated.

TIA

Todd
