Oil Pans

A Volvo catalog lists the same oil pan gasket for a B18, B20, B21, and B230 engines. My question is, do all of these engines use the same exact oil pan? Or do the oil pans differ from each other but have the bolt patterns? If the bolt pattern is the same but the pans differ from one another, then the question is how do the pans differ from each other (Oil capacity or ?)? I would appreciate any help before I head to the auto scrapyard
