This is followup to my original posting on over powered steering on 87 240.
Changed rack with a used one and steering is completely normal now. Thanks to all for their suggestions and comments, sorry took so long to post this final solution to problem. Also, original rack was leaking quite a bit too on both ends..it was really shot.
