Clutch hydraulic system loosing fluid. 120-130 1966

This is regarding my '66 122s. The clutch felt really strange on my way to work today. Popped the hood to find that the clutch fluid reservoir is dry!

Couple of questions:

What is the common fluid used in the clutch hydraulic system? The previous owner mentioned to me what he had been using but I don't remember. The fluid was green as I recall!

What would cause the system to leak? Any common leak points I should look for?
