Seat belt interchangeability 120-130 1966

Quick question,

My 122 still has the original seat belts. However, the drivers side belt is a lot more "chewed" up then the passenger side belt is.

Are these belts swappable? My hope is that I can swap them until I can get a suitable replacement for the frayed belt.

Also, does anyone know if it is possible to fix the spring that holds the latch down? Neither of my belts spring shut.
