My 1993 940 died on me about a month ago and it turned out that the RPM sensor was bad which I promptly replaced and the problem was solved, so I thought. The car died again last week showing the same symptoms: no movement on the rpm needle while cranking the engine which appears to be wanting to start but with two cylinders. I have swapped the power amplifier module with another one with no success. I am at my wits end, please help. Thanks.
