replacing cylinder locks - strange type of locks on my car

well, this is weird. the car i recently bought (93 965) has replaced lock cylinders with a "auto-mate" electric fob to open the doors. works fine, but the key attached to the fob does not work and looks to be in very sloppy shape (don't knwo if it was ever the correct key).

how difficult is it to replace the door cylinders, would i be forced to go to Volvo to buy all of it? and, what am i looking at in terms of cost?
