WeaK Battery 94 940 900

I have been on my 3rd battery in as many year with my 94 940 w/122K on it.
I would believe the first 2 batteries were perhaps not the best available(Pep Boys-Energizer) so I opted for a different brand in the Spring of 07.
It seems the battery struggles to turn the engine over and barely does so on cold mornings
The battery terminals are clean and contact there is excellent.

I do not notice the headlights running dim with the engine idle/revving which I know is an indicator of the alternators function.
Are there connections that can be cleaned up beside the battery terminals?
What are other possibilities? I have had to jump it once or twice now.
