Front control arm bushing removal. 200

FYI- just for fun, I tried removing the front control arm bushings (the small ones that are a pain to remove) from a car with 285k and many NE winters- I used my Harbor Freight C.H. Ina co. cheapo 12 ton press and an impact socket for a drift, with a short length of pipe for a receiver. A little PB blaster beforehand, a few pumps from the press, and the bushing came right out. Very easy.

I have done it before the old fashioned way, by burning, air chiseling, and swearing. It is so much easier with the press. $100 well spent. Rear bushings were easy removal as well. So much fun I might start doing my friend's bushings, just because I can.

It doesn't have to hurt.
