Volvo 164 stalls after running 2 minutes or so. 140-160

I have a 73 164 Volvo that will start and run 2 minutes or so and then stop. After cranking on and off for about 20 minutes or so it started again and I drove it about one mile home and parked it in my driveway. I started it a few day later and let it idle for 15 minutes or so and it continued to run until I turned the key.
I guess I will drive it around the block and see if it stalls again.
Any help will be appreciated.
