fan clutch and water pump pulley question 700

I just finished installing a new timing belt and tensioner on my 91 740 B230F 8 valve...

When cleaning the parts for reassembly, I noticed that one of the 4 studs on the fan clutch (which attach to the plastic fan ring, NOT to water pump) was broken off.

Are these studs replaceable or do I need to buy a whole new unit? or, do I even have to worry about it?

I also noticed a very small hairline crack - less than 1/2 inch long - on the water pump pulley, on the outer (away from engine) ring. Is this also an immediate problem?

Sometimes it really does feel like 1 step forward and 2 back!

thanks
