Hello All,
Using standard BW gear for my clutches, the clutch cables always seem to be too short, forcing me to adjust the play out to the max thread available on the cable. New clutch forks make no difference. I have stuggled with this for years, and only recently had a thought I would like you to confirm as to the problem's cause.
With the flywheel lightened, does this require the clutch plate to travel further to engage the flywheel? Thus messing up the designed travel of the Clutch Fork and the clutch cable demensions?
Could I adjust the fulcrum of the clutch fork by placing washers underneath the pivot point of the fork? How about a shorter clutch cable?
Any other thoughts as to the cause for the poor fitting clutch cables?
Thanks
Joel
