As part of my winter maintenance I want to service/upgrade the distributor on a B20 engine with a Bosch aluminum distributor. I didn't have any luck locating an electronic setup from a 75 240, so I am now planning on rebuilding mine and possibly adding a Pertronix or Crane ignition.Is it common practice to rebuild the distributor when a Pertronix is installed. If so, where do I find the internal parts(springs, washers,centrifugal weights etc.)if I need them? Or, am I better off buying a rebuilt one?
