'92 240 Shift Lock Pin

The shift lock pin in my '92 240 won't move.

The "bulb failure" light has come on for a few weeks now when I step on the brake pedal but brake lights are all working. Today, the shift lever won't move out of "park". Fusebox has recently been cleaned and all the fuses replaced but I went ahead and replaced fuses # 7 and # 12. The mechanical release lever is broken off...gone. I opened the box and tried to push in the solenoid pin manually but it won't release the lever.

We don't roll! Is there anything I can do to avoid a tow to my mechanic?
