FYI: Just switched plugs in my '85 244 M46 non-turbo with 199.3K miles. Went from Bosch Platinum WR7DP, 10K miles old, to NGK BPR6ES. The car now starts more promptly, the idle became smoother, and I noticed just a bit more power increase. Think I'll stick with the NGK.
