I'm wondering what kind of impact climate has on biodegradeable wiring harnesses.
People on this board have had many problems with them, but I have had none and I own a car made when Volvo used these harnesses.
My wires are still flexible and show no signs of cracking, and nor do the half dozen or so old Volvos in the junkyard.
This car has spent its entire life in the Northwest, which has a cool climate. I was thinking this might slow the decomposition of the wires. Is there any truth to this or are the cars I've seen just an exception to the rule?
Regards,
Tim
