I've posted this message on two different areas because I am desperate. We have done a complete engine rebuild on my 544 1965 B18 without a hitch until it came to the oil pump. I have ordered two from different suppliers and they are the exact same thing, which is not the exact same as my original. The old is 1/2" shorter than the aftermarket, which is going to require grinding the oil pump to make it fit in the oil pan. Has anyone had this problem with an after market Bilstein oil pump? Any suggestions?
