turn signals GONE! 900

About a month ago I was driving and noticed when I put on my turn signal the hazard button made a buzz noise and a flash. I pushed on the hazard button and it stopped. Same thing happened a couple more times before the turn signals stopped working totally. Where should I begin to look for my problem? Fuses are fine.
