Volvo 240 stick: uneven heat??? 200 1992

I have a 1992 Volvo 240. It is 5 speed. The right side of the heat (passenger) defrost and floor is nice and hot, but the driver's side is just luke warm. Both have the same amount of air movement (CFM). Any thoughts on what could be wrong? Please respond to this email address: swirlynj@yahoo.com Thanks a lot. ~Keith
