Hello,

My cruise control stopped working a few days ago.

So far I checked vacuum system and I cannot find anything wrong. The diaphragm that pulls on the throttle body is ok. I also applied vacuum and then hit brake pedal and it loosed vacuum so that is ok.

The next thing I looked at was the vacuum pump. When I suck on the vacuum tube the excess port is open so I cannot make any vacuum. Does anyone know how to diagnose this pump properly?? Should I be able to make vacuum with the pump out of the car and unplugged?
