Am seriously considering bidding on the '76 242DL on e-bay with only 9K miles as my everyday car. Only concern is the 3 spd.auto & if it really has only 9K miles. Has anyone any experience with the auto on these early 240s? Also, does the '76s have a cat? Heard '77 was the first year. Thanks.
