major repairs i can expect after 160 000 miles? keep or sell? 200

hi there,

i have a 90 240 sedan with around 160 000 miles. i live in the north-east where winters are not as kind on 240s - and all cars for that matter.

i've had my lovely 240 for just about 5 years, and have tried to repair/replace parts as needed or just for general maintenance.

now i'm wondering with high gas prices, and the "risk" factor of owning a 17 year-old car, whether i should start investing my $$$ in a more reliable, current vehicle.

my question is, what else might i soon expect to have to fix (rad? etc.) and is there a point where these repairs might pay me back?

i realize it's a case by case basis...just looking for general bricker experiences.

here's what i've done so far;

regular tune-ups, brakes, and oil changes.
recent header pipe, NEW cat and muffler
fuel pressure regulator
water pump
fuel sender unit
brake block
steering knuckle
crank position sensor
fuel pump

thoughts?

sorry for the long post

ggg
