taking trim off an 88, adding pre-86 mud flaps 200

This summer I'll be refinishing my 88 245. My gray plastic door trim and plastic mudflaps are pretty well shot, and I don't feel like ponying up the $300+ it'd take to replace it with the new stuff from FCP or other online retailers. I want to simply "go retro" on the body, weld the trim attachment holes, and do away with the black tape, plastic trim, and add only the rubber mud-flaps for pre-86 240's. Are these a direct bolt-on fit? Thanks all!
