Battery cable question 200

I need to replace the neg. battery cable on my 90 240. They do not sell the same kind of 2 wire cable at the part store I looked at today. Can I use a one wire neg cable and ground it to the block and not worry about the 2nd wire that is grounded to the body? Or should I order an OEM cable? If so, where is a good place to get a OEM cable?
