car jumps sideways over bumps in road - which bushings? 900 1993

Well, I don't think it's shocks, as the car rides quite well on smooth roads and small bumps, but potholes or other pockmarks in the road make the car bounce quite violently. It has to be bushings, but which bushings? I believe the rear is more responsible for the hop than the front, but any suggestions are VERY welcome. Thank you.
