I searched and even Googled the term "Limp Mode" and only got very partial answers to my questions. So after looking around I will venture to ask here.

1. What EXACTLY is Limp Mode? (Purpose)

2. What systems are altered or shut down when Limp Mode is triggered?

3. How do you know if your car drops into Limp Mode while you are on the highway?

4. What triggers Limp Mode?

5. How do you turn it off after needed repairs are made?

6. Which Volvo models/years have this feature?
