Wipers dead 200

Hello guys. I have an 1989 240dl. It was raining last night so I had my wipers on. When I left the car the wipers were still on. The rain turned to ice and the wipers and windscreen turned to ice. When I first started the car this morning the wipers went up an inch then stopped due to the ice. I cleared the ice and wipers completed their cycle and came down. Now they will not work at all. Any ideas? Did I kill the wiper motor? Fuse 2 looks ok. Its dark out now so any idea on what to look at in the morning before work would be great. Thanks a ton for the help.
