780 Turbo blown head gasket between cylinders 700 1990

I finally got a chance to investigate my 780 Turbo today. First, checked the codes: 1-1-1 on both the fuel and ignition. Next up---compression test. #1, 150 psi. #2, 50 psi, accompanied by a "PFFFT" noise. #3, same as #2. #4, 150 psi. It would seem that I have a blown head gasket between the two cylinders. Some time in the next week or so I plan to pull the head and see what it looks like inside.

First question---how likely is it that there will be additional problems besides the gasket itself (warped, cracked or eroded head, for example) and what should I look for?

Second question---is there anything special I should know about this job as I have never worked on a Turbo before (I've done head gaskets on several kinds of cars, but all were N/A)
