Brake lights keep going out 200 1993

Good morning, fellow Bricksters Can anyone shed light on repairing brakelights that keep shorting out? Not the fuse blowing or bulbs blowing but the connection to the fuse or condensation in the bulbs keeps these things from not working. The third light in the rear window always seems to work. Has anyone re wired the tail/brake lights to that circuit? Thanks in advance. Greg
