Someone asked me this morning about leaving diesel trucks idling, or shutting the engine off, and the relative fuel consumption and cost benefits of one approach versus the other. I think they were primarily intersted in light and medium trucks, as opposed to big rigs. Does anyone know of a web site where I can find a detailed discussion of this issue?
