More Radiator Replacement Questions 200

I finally got a radiator from Volvo. I got the radiator for the automatic transmission because it was half the price of the one for a standard transmission. The guy at the shop said it was probably just due to supply and demand. I took it out of the box and everything was exact except for an extra hole at the very top. Does anyone know if the radiator for the standard transmission has the same hole? What goes there? The radiator on my car has the indentation for the cutout but no hole. Please help.
