Electric Sunroof Question (yes i checked FAQ) 900

1991 940 turbo, 175K miles.

When it is warm out, my sunroof opens smoothly and without hesitation. But when it gets colder out, even just in the evening, the sunroof opens verrrry slowly. Is there any reason why this might be happening. Im not talking about it being slow in sub freezing temps, but even 40s and 50s.
