Is IPD swaybar worth it? 200 1993

I have a '93 245. Thinking of buying a larger swaybar for the front of the vehicle. IPD usually sells these for around $300. Is it worth the money? I don't have junkyards around to look for used ones. Also...what is the main difference between the one that is already on my car versus the IPD swaybar? Is it "thicker?" Maybe there are other companies that make the swaybar??
