Possible blown head gasget on a '94 960 900

Following a 1,400 mi trip from CA to MT my 960 had two overheating episodes without coolant loss. Stopped promptly both times...2nd time realized I was getting oil in the coolant. Vechile has 140 K and runs perfectly with synthetics and great body fluid chane records from mile 1. The "oh by the way" additional fact is that I may have mixed coolant types just before the trip. Is this 'just a head gasget' or am I looking at a bigger problem?
