Check Engine Light, Knock Sensor 900

1993 T-Rex/Regina, great, I imagined it would be a PITA EGR issue. Oops, don't have one. Pulled the fuel/ign codes and just got a knock sensor code. Cleared the code then pulled out and plugged in the connector, let the engine run a little and revved it up. No code but I imagine I would have to get the engine under some load if it is really a bad knock sensor.

Got to love NC. I had to get the car inspected first thing this morning before I checked and cleared the codes. For years 1995 and older, no emissions requirements at all. Passed the car with the check engine light. Just make sure all the lights work including the license plate lights. Serious note, it would behoove you to always repair issues that raise codes, to get the best gas mileage and even prevent engine damage such as a knock, not to mention it's the green thing to do.
