wtf? just got back from the store and now no crank/start! 200 1980

I took my '80 245 for a spin this morning, and now less than an hour later I have no crank. You hit the key and nothing... the fuel pump and feq. valve come on and buzz, but when you turn to the start position - nada! WTF? Where do I even start? I wiggled the fuses and that dind't help... could this be a starter issue that a hammer would fix, or possibly an ignition switch failure? Help me o wise brickboarders!
