I have to start By saying "Shit That Was Hard". It took me 7 Hrs. just to get the trans. out. I have changed a lot of manual trans. and auto trans. on American cars in the past but this one was the worst. When you read the Bentley Manual it doesn't tell you how hard it is to get that top tork converter housing bolt out.I had to climb in the engine compartment with a wrench and fight to just get the bolt loose.Am I missing something because that took me 2 hrs. just to get it out. Then in the book it doesn't tell you how hard it was to get a rench on the tork coverter bolts.I ended up using a 3/8 socket with a breaker bar that if you positioned the bolt up to the left you can just get enough room to loosen the bolt.Couldn't use a rench on the bolt because of the flywheel ring stuck out to far and couldn't get a good grip on the bolt.I can't tell you how long that took because I was getting pissed off. Again was I missing something? If there is a better way please let me know.Oh yah, last night I had removed the drive shaft and exhaust with a couple of other things just to get a head start. So please if you have done this before let me know.Boy can't wait till tomarrow to repeat this hole thing again, I'm to tired to go any more today. Charlie
