Black Soot on Plugs, White Smoke 200 1984

Have 1984 244 DL non-turbo 1 week, daily driver, 112k miles. Today, corrected timing from 15' BTDC to 12' BTDC. Suddenly on starting engine, lots of white smoke came out of tail pipe, increasing with acceleration. Accelerated poorly. Immediately stopped car and have not driven since. No change in coolant level since purchase. Water pump is dry. Coolant is green w/o oil and no bubbles on pulling throttle. Oil is clear. Compression: 187, 200, 193, 193. Black soot easily removed on all four plugs (note hyperlink is only one plug, but different photos of same plug).
