Hi folks,
I'm thinking of getting a $40 transmission cooler for my 740GLE. I live in a mountainous area of NC, and lug my engine a lot when driving on slow, bumpy, uphill dirt roads. My driveway (1/2 mile) has a 500 foot stretch where you have to drive UP a 40 degree incline at 3 to 5 mph.
I think this would be a wise investment. Thoughts? My only question is if it would take too long to heat up the fluid in the morning, and what effect winter driving would have (would I need to disconnect it?).
