Well, I've had my fair share of problems in the past with my fuel pump relays causing fuel pump to stop working but now I have a new problem. Couldn't find anything in the archives with a quick search either.
Its an 87 N/A 240 (LH2.2). The fuel pump is running continuously, even with the key switched off and removed. Of course it ends up running the battery dead. I am going to try swapping the fuel pump relay but I don't recall ever hearing of a failure of the FPR causing this. In the meantime has anyone else ever had this problem? - or any idea of possible culprit? It doesn't appear that anything else is operating after the key is turned off (i.e radio turns off, elec antenna retracts, gauges and lights turn off) so i9t seems that the ignition switch is not a likely culprit.
Any help appreciated!
Jim
