Suggestions from anyone who has soldered a new small odometer motor circuit board with the grey and blue wires 200 1987

I have blown my odo (speedo still works) with the high voltage line for the tach. Going to try to solder a new circuit board with odo motor onto my (theoretically) still good speedo assembly.

Suggestions from anyone who has done this?
