My 90 just broke the upper hose mount so I need a new rad. I just read through the FAQ and see some of what I want to know but maybe missed something.
I met someone recently who I cannot now contact, who had converted his 89 turbo to a 3 pass rad and a different thermo switch and 940 elec fan, and took off the belt fan. He claimed a noticable increase in power along with good cooling. I'd like to do the same but am not sure of how to do the switch part. I do seem to have the correct large elec fan in front of the rad/air cond. unless anyone knows otherwise, it seems to be the same as the 940 model fan he had put in his car.
