So, as most of you know, I am new to the volvo scene. Just picked up a 92 240 sedan. The owner told me that there was a leak in the compressor and a charge typically lasted 3 months (R12). So his mechanic said it would be wiser to change out the compressor. My concern is that I have heard that pre-93 240s, when converted to r134 do not cool that well. So, what do I need to do, get a compressor for a 93?
