When the heat indicator needle began moving toward the red mark, I changed thermostat. That helped for about half a day, then the needle once more began trespassing to the red zone. I've flushed it under pressure, then cleaned it. It goes to the red within a mile. (I even replaced the original thermostat only to find nothing changed.) The engine runs rough too.
