brakes help - 1993 965 900 1993

After hearing that "interesting" sound coming from the rear of the car, I pulled the calipers to discover that one pad was grinding down, while the other was relatively good. What is going on? Should I also replace the caliper, if one of the pistons is not "pushing" the pads against the rotor? Additionally, the calipers look a bit worn over, given the age and the mileage (high) on the car. I'll replace them or rebuild them if need be.

Also, what make you of the cheap Chinese rotors? Since there on the rear, would I notice any difference between those and the more expensive German version?

So, to recap: Chinese rotors and replace the rear calipers...?

Thanks
