Should I buy a used 960 900

I own a 850 with 243,000 miles.This year I have replaced fuel pump and radiator. Now it look like water pump is on the way out and I guess I will need a new timing belt at the same time. I an thinking about a 1997 960 with 123,000 that I saw recently on a used car lot. The cash asking price is $4,900. It this a good deal or what? What is the 411 on this model and year? What repairs are just waiting for a new owner?
