Replacing Htr Hoses - Easier to remove intake? 200 1993

Looking at my 93, I can't help but wonder if it would be easier to remove the intake manifold to replace the heater hoses. Those who have done it on LH Jet 240's: what do you recommend? Any tips would be appreciated.
